totoro - simple papercraft

below is a simple papercraft of a totoro from the awesome movie " my neighbour totoro" it is quite simple . you cut all of the shapes out and glue them together intinctively , where you see black lines you make folds and apply glue . 

in the end it should look simething like this :

a starter papercraft module

a nice papercraft which includes cutting  for starters is a cubee . cubees come in a wide varitety of designs and addons .

all you have to do is save image as and print it out , then you cut oit out using scisors and stick the parts together as the letters match .

here is a site with tons of templates for all sorts of cubees , i found it very helpful when staring to make them .

when you feel comfortable with making them and know which part goes where you can even try and make your own designs by simple colouring the inside white with paint and sticking in your own templates , experiment around and see how that goes .

lucky stars , an easy start

lucky stars are the easiest way to start with a very simple type of paper folding , all you need is a sheet of paper cut into stripes and a pair of scisors . no glue needed . here are the simple instructions :

its very simple and relaxing , after some time you will even be bale to make them with your eyes closed !
